Vaccinations play a critical role in your puppy’s health during the first four months of its life.

Core Vaccines Are:
• A series of vaccines that vaccinate against common viruses that cause illness and in some cases lead to death
• Recommended for all dogs regardless of lifestyle

• Protects against Distemper, Parve, Parainfluenza, Adeno and Corona Virus
• Series of 3 vaccines given at 8, 12,and 16 weeks of age

• Typically administered at 16 weeks
• Protects against the rabies virus

Kennel Cough (Bordetella)
• Affects the respiratory system
• Highly contagious between dogs
• Usually self limiting but in some cases can lead to secondary pneumonia
• We carry the vaccine that protects against the most common virus

• Are caused by a type of bacteria known as Borellia burgdorferi and can be transmitted from the tick to dogs
• A tick must be attached for at least 24 hours before it can transmit the organism that causes the disease
This vaccine needs to be boosted 3-6 weeks after the first vaccination is administered and is then required on a annual basis
• Recommended to those pets who are exposed to ticks and who’ owners aren’t able to remove the tick with 24 hours
The vaccine helps prevent against lymes disease, however it does not prevent ticks
