Jillian grew up ski racing in Vancouver, so Whistler was a natural choice to settle after university, and she has been reveling in all that the mountains have to offer since 2016. An animal lover from day one, she has worked with animals in various capacities throughout her life, but after entering the veterinary industry she found herself drawn to the Vet Tech role. This inspired her to apply to the Veterinary Technology Diploma program at Thompson Rivers University, and she has been working her way through the open learning program since January 2023. With the support of her amazing coworkers and mentors, she is learning more each day and looks forward to graduating as an RVT in December of 2025. 

When Jill is not studying or cuddling patients at the clinic, she enjoys skiing, hiking, camping, and spending quality time with her rescue dog, Rio.
