Dr. Dayton graduated from UC Davis veterinary school and immediately entered the world of small animal medicine. While focusing on dog and cat medicine and surgery, she has kept her career diverse by working on several continents with wildlife and by caring for the pets of underserved populations. She recently returned from Cambodia where she worked to help decrease the death rate of children from rabid dogs.
Anaika loves to hike and camp with her husband, two daughters and their lovely mutt Bongo. They also have an adorable rat named Joker and often foster pregnant cats and kittens.
